my closet: 1960s drop waist dress & go go(ish) boots

It's late, so I don't have much to say... Other than I bought this dress for $7 at Buffalo Exchange (wait, those are everywhere, right? or is it just texas?).  And as you can probably see, those boots have been very (very) loved.
I hope everyone had a fabulous day.  I had a lot of 'me time' today (including, tattoo consultations, a movie and a bike ride) So I am a happy camper!
I hope you are also a happy camper :)

  2. You are the cutest! Buffalo Exchange must be everywhere, cause I thought they were only in Portland, OR.

  3. I love these photos (and that dress!) - you look so happy.
I always thought Buffalo Exchange's were only in Vegas, which is where I first saw them, but I've seen them in multiple states since so I guess it's not as unpopular as I thought. Boston has a great one!
Sounds like the perfect 'me' day! Especially the tattoo part. I've been itchin' like crazy for a new tattoo.

    1. I know me too! (being pregnant and not being able to get one for 9 months really REALLY makes you want one). I have three ideas I'm getting drawn up now. Then it will probably be another long break. BUT, I'm so super stoked about these. yay!

  4. Adorable dress and boots. But boots are NOT gogo. Haha! Sorry. I was there.....they are more like motorcycle boots, huh? Gogo were usually white and plasticy and had a heel. These are darlin. What did you wear to the shower? Mrs. B said you looked so cute, and you were wearing a dress like I used to have and wear! Funny! Love love love! mama

    1. I said 'ish' ... haha, yeah, they were definitely more plasticy ... and not a very cute shape (I don't think)... but these are about the same height, maybe? ehhh.
I wore this other dress I got from buffalo for under ten dollars. It was so incredibly 70s. I'll show you. You'll crack up, It had 3 quarter inch puffy sleeves with this like bib/flap thing that goes over your chest. And big pastel stripes on the fabric. YOU know what? IT is similar in shape to the light blue one you wore to dads phd graduation.
